ConvertMod & iVerio history!
How did it start? ConvertMod has been founded in December 2007 by Francois PEDEBOSCQ with the aim of developing a simple software for using a JVC HDD camcorder with the MAC. At the beginning, François developped iVerio for himself. When the version came to be stable, he decided to publish it so everybody can enjoy it. With the help of Avangate, an online software delivering website, the first version of iVerio for MAC was sold in Februray 2008. Seeing the need of such a software, Francois decided to develop a windows version of iVerio. In March 2008, a windows version was publish. Since then thanks to the feedbacks of iVerio users, both versions keep developing and improving with the same spirit of simplicity.
Few words about me: Like you, I bought an HDD camcorder and I was very disappointed by the fact that no MAC software were delivered with it. I spend months on forums trying to find the best solution to use it with my Macintosh. I finally decided to program a little software that will be as simple as a photo transfering software. Eight month later, the iVerio Version I programmed finally satisfies my needs in terms of video conversion on both plateforms MAC and Windows.
